The video footage came after a criminal gang arrived in three trucks and assassinated a man while his family watched from outside their home in the north-western Mexican city of Sinaloa.

The clip starts showing the armed officers making a hasty retreat by running down the street towards their vehicles after hearing of the impending shooting.
