World’s fastest computer back online after Tianjin blasts

The world’s fastest computer - Tianhe-1A supercomputer - resumed service on Monday, five days after it was shut down following the warehouse explosions in Tianjin.
The supercomputer, located at the National Supercomputer Center in Tianjin, is about one mile away from the blast zone. The computer and its database, protected by a reinforced room, remain intact.
The ceilings and windows of its cooling and electrical supply facilities, however, were damaged.
