On Sunday, just one day after the lightning strike in Norway, another lightning strike killed 19 cows in Hallsville, Texas.
Victor Benson, who witnessed the incident, told KLTV that the cows had gathered under a tree to keep dry from the rain when a single lightning strike hit the tree and killed all 19 cows in an instant.
“All of a sudden, a lightning bolt came down, and the cows just fell — in the blink of an eye,” Benson said.

More than 300 wild reindeer have been killed after they were struck by lightning at a nature park in southern Norway.
