Some 40,000 members of Iraq's Yazidi ethnic and religious minority group remained trapped Saturday and surrounded by The Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS) forces on Sinjar Mountain, facing starvation and dehydration. Many women and children, as well as the sick and elderly, have already died on the mountain from hunger and dehydration.
